I completely am aware of the fact that we are in an educating environment and that certain sites should be blocked and unaccessible. Some sites on the web shouldn't be allowed to be accessible from any computer at all because of how inappropriate they are and how easy they are to get to. However, we have certain things blocked on our school computers that I find any reason at all as to why they are within the standards of being blocked. Many of them are simple game sites that have such games as Scrabble, not even games that are vulgar or inappropriate. For example, freshgames.com ,bored.com, or myspace.com all have quizzes, fun games, and opportunities to explore our blogging techniques that pass time in between assignments in computer classes when we are given free time to explore the web. But instead, everything is blocked and we find ourselves on google.com typing in "Jennifer aniston's hair styles" and instead are able to access nude pictures! I am a little confused how we can access these things but are not able to play family games online when our teacher has clearly given us permission to do so!
