11:09:53 am, Categories: General Information Every new school year things change and some things stay the same. This year i think one thing that should change is the whole Parent Night thing at the last home football game. What usually happens is everyone who is a football player, cheerleader, and in the band gets introduced before the game, well what about the other people who aren't in any of that but play other sports?!? I think everyone who plays sports should get acknowledged for what they've done. Another thing that would be easier to do is just let it be Senior parent night then you wouldn't have to worry about a ton of people being out there b/c eventually the other people will be seniors too. This is just a thought though and I think it's something to be considered!

I totally agree...I think we need to find a more organized way to do it too...everyone just gathering in the middle of the field and calling out random names isn't going too well...every senior that wants to be included should have to write their name and parents' names, go down on the field, and get into some kind of order so that when they announce their name it just goes down the line instead of randomly calling out people...maybe we should bring it up to whoever is in charge of the whole thing...*Amanda

For the past year or so it is JUST SENIOR night. Also i do think its unfair that all the other sports dont get recognized. I have been in band for three years and i never thought about it like that, but now that i am a senior and im not in band its depressing to know that my name wont be called on parent night.

I agree with ryan! I don't even think it should be all sports senior night..just all seniors in general that want to be recognized for hard work for 4 years! eventually everyone will get their chance this way!!!

I totally agree with you. football, cheerleading and band are not the only extracurricular activities at this school that should be recognized. I'm personally not in any sports but I understand where you are coming from. And what I can see, you're a great basketball and tennis player... those are the only things i've seen you do.
