Music...To me, music is a form of art. Music is not just heard. Music is felt. Music is lived. When I am having a bad day, I turn to music. When I am having a good day, I listen to music. Music can send a message. It is powerful like a weapon. It can not be ordered like a taco. True music comes from the heart of an artist. It should not be manufactured to make a hit. That's what today's record labels want. It's more about who would win the beauty contest instead of who is making great records. The way the music industry is moving saddens me because so many great artists will never get a chance. It makes me think...Would artists like Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles have a chance today? What kind of great music are we missing because a major label will not pick it up?
During Mondays News Conference, Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy had an outburst to a column in The Daily Oklahoman from Jenni Carlson, in which she wrote that Bobby Reid lost his starting spot as quarterback because he's not tough enough. Mike Gundy addresses the media, about how Jenni Carlson should of not talk about Bobby Reid, and that the media should not talk bad about people. also he said that society is being destroy because of the media. Is the media's right to talk about anything also Jenni Carlson been covering Oklahoma and Oklahoma state for years now and relationship with them is bigger than any individual or disagreement quoted from Oklahoman sports editor Mike Sherman. Should Mike Gundy be fined, suspended, or even fired ?

Being a crime scene investigator isn't always easy. It may look interesting, a lot of the times it is, but you may have to work any time of the day, even if you havn't slept in 24 hours. You may be called anytime in the day for example, you might be called to work on Christmas day, or 30 minutes before you want to go to bed. If you want to have this job you have to be ready for any challenges ahead of you. If you feel uncomfortable with something that has to do with this job, then it may not be for you. For example a lot of people do not like going under houses, you may have to if your looking for a cartridge or something. So what I'm saying is that you should know what your going to have to do, before you get the job
The warrior football team of the 2007 season has record so far of 3-1. The team started the season of with scrimmaging Leonard. The Coaching staff quickly organized the team players from the quitters with 7 quitting shortly after the first scrimmage. A week after the warriors scrimmaged the Leonard Tigers, they took a trip to Tom Bean where they scrimmaged the Tom Cats. In this Scrimmage the coaches figured out which boys would start the next Friday night. The Warriors also did a live half during there scrimmage against the Tom Cats. The coaches where confident in there Team with the warriors leaving Tom Bean with a victory over the tom cats with a score of 21 to 0 in just one half of playing a live football game. The next week the team prepared for the Celeste Blue Devils. All week the team worked hard and learned everything the could about the Blue Devils offense as well as there defense and special teams. When Friday rolled around the Warrior football team was more than ready and when Celeste came to Honey Grove they where by no means ready to play warrior Football. The warriors crushed the blue devils with a score of 58 to 12. This was the season opener the coaches had hoped for.
For the seniors, class of 2008- this week of homecoming which includes: parades, wall decor, floats and lots of pictures will be our last. For some this is a very liberating experience which marks the end of our high school career, which consists of long hours spent on walls and floats, and waking up early to dress-up. But for others this week although fun, has a symbolic meaning of the end of something that, while stressful, we have always looked forward to; our last wall, our last float, our last homecoming parade and our last pep rally. But either way you view this week of chaos and tradition we will always remember it!
Gerard Way is the lead singer of My Chemical Romance. He was born on April 7, 1977 in Belleville New Jersey. He is an amazing song writer and singer,he writes all the lyrics for MCR. He is also very beautiful and he is my favorite singer of all time. Gerard also is very talented in drawing, as he has said that was going to be his fall back plan if singing didn't work out. He has drawn all the c.d. covers for My Chemical Romance. Gerard has started another career in making comic books, like "The Umbrella Academy" that he released on September 19, 2007.Gerard Way is very talented and his hands down the best singer/songwriter that has ever lived.
Chris Brown is like the finest thing that has every walked on this earth. He is 6'2 and not only does he look good but, he has the voice to match with it making him the perfect man in every woman dreams. I love all his music video and his song and I hope one day that I will be in one of his video. That is my man oh my gosh you just don't know WOW!!!!!!!! I love him.
Lil Wayne, or Dwayne Carter is "The Best Rapper Alive," in which he also named one of his hit albums after. Even though weezy dropped out of school when he was 13 to pursue a career as a rapper. Most people underestimate lil wayne, but those people who listen to his lyrics and actually listen to what he has to say, well i guess you could just say that they LOVE this rapper. Lil wayne went solo at age 17 and his debut album "The Block is Hot" went double platinum and reached #3 on the U.S. Chart.
So I am sitting in Mrs. Nelson's third period class and the whole class is suppose to "blog". I have no idea what to write about today. So I'm just going to tell you about my day. I got up about 7:30 this morning and realized I had to dress up a little bit better than my usual dragging, lazy attire for a picture with all the homecoming nominee's: Aubrun, Ashley, and me for the Paris news. So I was a little late to school this morning because I was getting ready. Then I got to school went to my first period class which is a total drag! The whole time I was in there I couldn't concentrate don't you hate that when you get off task and you just think about everything else instead of what your suppose to be doing?! Then I went to English 4 with Mrs. Nelson. That class is pretty kool. And here I am! So yeah that was my day. Catch you later!

So the time has finally come. Senior year, the year I have been waiting thirteen years for, ever since kindergarten. But as the days get closer to graduating the scarier and sadder everything becomes. I am actually going to have to chose something to do, a place to go to college, a career. A lot of stuff that I've always wanted till now, now I would rather just want to live with my mom and she make all my choices for me..well kind of! Then there is leaving all my friends. Some are going off and some are staying here, but after graduation night, it will never be the same. But even though im kind of scarad and sad, i'm really excited I have to say. It's really hard to believe that I am a senior.
This week is homecoming week here at Honey Grove High School. All of our classes have been working really hard to get everything decorated, and finished before Friday. The different classes are also being very competitive this week! Each class is trying to come out on top, by outdoing the other classes with the best dressed! And who perhaps do we play this Friday night at Warrior Stadium...the Cooper Bulldogs...our biggest rivals! I know we are all expecting a great victory this Friday night..and hopefully a great victory is what we get!
